The Greenlawn-Centerport Historical Association is compiling a database of veterans who currently reside or have lived in the Harborfields School District. The Association is collecting names, stories and artifacts of military personnel to be printed in future publications honoring veterans.

Some of the artifacts will be included in an exhibit at the Suydam Homestead located at One Fort Salonga Road in Centerport, which will open on Memorial Day 2011 following the Centerport Fire Department Memorial Day Parade. Bring your items to the next GCHA meeting, which will be on Tuesday, February 22nd at 7:30 PM, in the barn of the Gardiner Farm.
